The Early Years of Our Sioux Falls Moving Company
Parker began hauling items in Sioux Falls for local customers with his farm equipment when it was not being used in the field. Some of the first items were pot ash from boilers and ice blocks for early refrigeration used by Lakeside Dairy. As the city of Sioux Falls started to grow, so did Parker Transfer.
Parker Transfer was one of the first moving services in the nation to use “modern” furniture hauling trailers with cargo tie-downs for securing customer’s possessions.
The next economic boom in Sioux Falls is the ever-expanding medical community. Parker Transfer continues to develop new capabilities to handle the move of modern medical equipment and facilities while relying on tested methods for bringing families to the Sioux Falls area to support our new economy.
